We are looking for a highly efficient and driven Senior HR Officer to join our growing, talented team in Cairo. You will report into the HR Director and will be the face of the HR team in Cairo. You will manage full employee life cycle activities including recruitment, attendance and performance monitoring, training, payroll and employee counselling. If you are passionate about HR, committed, approachable and ready for a challenge in a  dynamic environment, this might be the right place for you!


  • Work closely with hiring managers to prioritize hiring needs for the Cairo office. Screen, shortlist applicants and arrange interviews to help select the most qualified candidates. Prepare employment contracts.
  • Keeping up-to-date with legal affairs and ensuring legal compliance.
  • Ensuring CS attendance is correct and calculation of OT.
  • Spruce up the payroll process with social insurance and related taxes. Compute and process payroll with monthly submission to relevant authorities. Ensuring information for payroll is provided on time and is correct.
  • Maintaining physical copies of the Employee Personnel files, ensuring this is complete and always up-to-date as per the labor and social insurance requirements.
  • Handling any inspections from the labour office.
  • Completing all documentation required for Social Insurance for new joiners and providing this for in-person submission to the social insurance office.
  • Annual contract renewals
  • Liaising with Medical Insurance for additions/deletions/payments/dues and claim requirements.
  • Providing the bank with income documents on a timely basis along with any other requirement for the bank.
  • Exploring and conducting employee engagement activities, birthday celebrations, etc. Supporting to increase employee morale and engagement.
  • Supporting with recruitment activities if needed in terms or university career fairs (as required)
  • Investigations and non-compliance
  • Supporting the HR team and liaising with the QA team to build training required for CS.
  • Contribute to a positive work environment by constantly gathering feedback from staff and managers and acting on them. Manage employee grievances, investigatory process, disciplinary actions, successful resolutions.
  • Support with any ad hoc tasks as required.


  • Bachelor degree with 3-5 years of relevant HR experience as an HR officer/ administrator
  • Prior experience in a 24/7 Customer Service operation.
  • Prior experience setting up HR policies and procedures will be a huge plus
  • Well versed with the local labor laws and understanding of disciplinary procedures
  • Strong interpersonal and problem solving skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills both in English and Arabic
