Senior Executive, Contracting should have the ability to negotiate rates, allotments and favorable conditions closing contract deals with hotels. He/she should visit and inspect hotels on a regular basis, meet with hoteliers, ensure all contracts are received to deadline and conditions are met and deal with any related disputes.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Being responsible for all elements of ongoing account management and developing excellent client relationships with hoteliers.
- Securing and negotiating competitive rates for both rooms only and packages;
- Loading and adjusting contracts on system.
- Ensuring the reflection of the contracts on live platforms
- Negotiating rates and availability with hotels.
- Visiting and inspecting hotels on a regular basis to ensure good standards.
- Meeting with hoteliers and representing the company.
- Ensuring that all contracts are received to deadline, and that contract conditions are met.
- Dealing with disputes regarding rates, allotment, etc.
- Liaising with other members of staff to ensure the best possible use of contracted hotels.
- Supervising a team of operations staff in maintaining day-to-day operations.
- Dealing with every day's problems and issues that might encounter staff.
- Follow up the product starting from the commercial part until it goes live.
- Monitors the performance of each signed contract.
- Coordinates with the finance department to ensure correct billing and collection of contractual revenues.
- Ensures that contracts are in line with corporate goals and objectives.
- Reports to the Commercial and Revenue Director.
- Analyzes our competitors.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in any related field
- 5+ years of experience in Contracts preparation and management
- Strong Hotels & Hospitality background
- Excellent command of English Language
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Negotiation and business development skills;
- Excellent communication skills;
- Excellent Knowledge of Dynamic contracts and channel managers integrations
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team;
- Self-motivated, uses initiative and problem solver;
- Ability to work under pressure and willingness to meet deadlines;
- Ability to communicate with people of different nationalities and to develop close working relationships with suppliers to achieve optimum results.
